Thought of the Week

Photo taken by Ana We can’t survive these days without the inner peace that will give us the ability to have clarity of reason and of clarity of choice. We all have many choices in life but when we choose to serve others we find happiness.

Prague: Charles Bridge

The Charles Bridge over the river Vltava is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Prague. It is the oldest bridge in the city, built between the 14 and 15 century, and it spans the river with 16 pillars. It is lined with statues and lamps and this scenery together with the Gothic bridge towers on both ends makes the Charles Bridge a breathtaking historical monument. There is no better place in Prague for a walk in the evening. The Charles Bridge has towers on both ends. The Old Town Bridge Tower was built by Petr Parler. It is adorned with statues of Charles IV., Wenceslas IV. and St. Vitus in the lower part and St. Procopius and St. Sigismund in the upper part. It is one of the most beautiful Gothic towers in Europe.

Prague - Astronomical Clock

Astronomical Clock The Old Town Square is the oldest and most important square of city of Prague . It is surrounded with historic buildings such as the Old Town City Hall with the famous Astronomical Clock, St. Nicholas Church and many houses and palaces that give this part of town charisma and personality. The Old Town Square has been the center of Prague since the middle ages, when it was a market place. Prague is rich in culture, tradition and beauty, it was a wonderful to see it again!

Exceptional scenic views

The Opel Zoo, which was founded by the same family of car-building fame. The zoo, which is located between Königstein and Kronberg , offers spacious habitats for elephants, giraffes, zebras, etc but offers as well exceptional scenic views of the Taunus mountains that we so much love. In a clear day one can see the city of Bad Homburg and the skyline of the Frankfurt City! We had a good time walking the paths and parks of the zoo and surrounding area!
