New Years Eve Tradition

In our family we always decorate and have a family dance in New Year's Eve. This year we were not going to do it... but our children kept the tradition. Nice decorations, music and good food, with the addition of sushi done at home by Miguel!

New Year - 2009

There was snow during all the Christmas days, everything is beautiful and white, during this season we participated in three marriages, two from our returned missionaries and another from an old companion of Miguel in Japan which came to be married here in Salt Lake City Temple. We were blessed with the opportunity to be together and to speak to João our son that is serving a mission in New York City. We now look forward to the new year, setting new goals e move forward.

Snow at home

Snow is part of day to day living in Utah in the winter season, it is part of the culture and it's beautiful. In Frankfurt, Germany where we lived we expected snow as well in the winter months much like here in Utah. However here snow is a resource for the extraordinary winter sports facilities available in the valley, and an important water supply for the summer season! They say that here is the "Best Snow on Earth" .
